Responsibilities: -

Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code
Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas.
Work with product managers, clients, and sales teams to assess customer demand and usability of new applications.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm about new products, provide each other with technical insight and review working drafts.
Perform individual project components within the entire development life cycle including implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Work from UI/UX requirements, wireframes APIs, mockups to build functional, high-performance Android phone and tablet apps.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Required Candidate profile

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch".
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks as Retrofit, RxJava, Dagger, Room Optional - Epoxy.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Knowledge of Navigation Component, Architecture Component will be an added advantage.
Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tool, Git Familiarity with continuous integration.
