Responsibilities
  1. Make and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
  2. Develop and deliver engaging and effective music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  3. Participate with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive and effective music program
  4. Evaluate students progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
  5. Participate in school events and performances as required
Requirements:
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching style
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Bachelors degree in music or a related field
  5. 1-4 years of experience teaching music in a school or private setting
  6. Closely with music software and technology is a plus
  7. Strong knowledge of Indian music theory and practice
  8. Proficient in playing one or more instruments such as tabla, sitar, harmonium, etc.
